Two restaurants in Tampa have a few cocktails for Gasparilla revelers to enjoy.

The Rez Grill wants to get the annual pirate party's merriment started early with Monsoon, created by lead mixologist and general manager James Manuel. A staple on the regular drink menu, the $12 libation features a tropical juice blend, plus light rum, spiced rum and house-made grenadine.

Through Friday, Jan. 25, at Datz, Gasparilla Milk Punch and Zombie Pirate are the themed sippers up for grabs from beverage director Jon Griffiths. The dangerous-sounding Zombie Pirate offers three kinds of rum — light, dark and spiced — with a mix of tropical juices for $12, while the $10 Gasparilla Milk Punch showcases bourbon, cognac, vanilla, nutmeg and milk.

Gasparilla takes over Tampa's Bayshore Boulevard Saturday, Jan. 26.
