The perfect event for both music-lovers and seafood-lovers returns to downtown St. Petersburg this weekend, as the 4th annual St. Petersburg Seafood & Music Festival runs from Friday-Sunday, Jan. 28-30 at 350 2nd Ave. N.
Admission is $10 on Friday, $15 on Saturday and $7 on Sunday. Tickets can be purchased at the festival or online at eventliveus.com, but children under the ages of 14 can enter for free. The 4th annual St. Petersburg Seafood & Music Festival festival runs from 4 p.m.-10 p.m. on Friday, 11 a.m.-10 p.m. on Saturday, and 11 a.m.-6 p.m. on Sunday.
Although there’s no information online about the specific seafood lineup, previous years of the festival have had different stands selling one special dish. Expect to see various different types of seafood offerings at this weekend’s festival, from fish and chips to lobster tempura, cajun-fried alligator, blackened grouper and grilled mahi mahi.
Other non-seafood wares, including local art, cigars and desserts will also be for sale at this weekend’s festival, alongside alcohol ( of course.)
A plethora of Tampa Bay bands provide the musical backdrop for this seafood festival, so you don’t have to hear the sounds of people sucking crawfish and cracking crab legs.
Friday night headliners include blues-rock acts Stormbringer, Albert Castiglia and Pat Travers, while Saturday’s headlines are rock-country act Joshua Scott Jones, St. Pete-born swamp-blues sweetheart Selwyn Birchwood and the Soul Circus Cowboys, a southern rock band. Funk-rock act the Black Honkeys and classic rock band Atlanta Rhythm Section close the festival out as the Sunday night headliners.

There are several parking garages near downtown St. Pete’s Williams Park, including the Plaza Tower, Sundial, South Core, and MAACM garage—if you’re not lucky enough to snag street parking.
