Seminole Heights' Ella's Americana Folk Art Cafe revealed its new Night Owl menu Wednesday.
Diners may order the late-night fare, much of it delectably fried, from 10 p.m. to midnight Wednesdays and Thursdays, and 11 p.m. to 1 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
Ranging from $6 to $13, the menu boasts pickled deviled eggs (six of 'em for $8), fried pork belly, a hummus spread that changes week to week and a Southern fritto misto (mixed fried food) that offers okra, chicken livers, pimento cheese and more.
There's also a fried chicken thigh coated with a "super hot sauce," grilled octopus, fried spam, which intrigues this reporter, fried potatoes and four of the restaurant's good ol' stone-baked pizzas.
