Amalie Arena has recently leveled up when it comes to booze, thanks to the new partnership with Cigar City. Not only does Amalie pour up Cigar City's signature brews throughout the arena, but fans and beer enthusiasts alike can slide by the newly debuted taproom under the Pam Iorio Garage. Now Lightning fans, along with those who frequent the stadiums for concerts and events can cash in on the latest project, Cur(ate) TPA, a culinary experience showcasing new local food and beverage options.

“We are excited to unveil Cur(ate) TPA as our umbrella food and beverage brand for AMALIE Arena and the Tampa Bay Lightning,” said Lightning Chief Executive Officer Steve Griggs in an announcement. “We take great pride in providing a world class experience for our guests and dining is one of the pillars of that experience. Cur(ate) TPA reminds our culinary teams to provide fresh, local options of all types to those eating and drinking at AMALIE for our games, events and family shows.”

Although the arena added new eats like Portillo’s, grab ‘n go stands and the new Design Kitchens, this season more enhancements to food and beverage locations are in the works. Last September, the arena announced other new bites including a grilled cheese hub called The Melt-Away, a hot dog spot called Dog Gone It, and the Easy Slider and Steak Station which offers a variety of sandwiches.

These new concessions — complete with digital menu boards to each concession stand to assist with branding and menu recognition — hope to offer more grab-and-go features so fans see their food before buying it and get it fast without missing a second of the on-ice action.

The wait won't be long, either before the Cur(ate) experience is in full swing. According to a release, Cur(ate) TPA is set to feature new everyday value items, multiple new combination meals, beginning with the February 25 home game against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
