Craft beer bars and breweries around town have organized a number of events to observe American Craft Beer Week, which kicked off Monday and runs through Sunday. Now in its 13th year, the nationwide celebration of U.S. beer culture and community is annually assembled by the Brewers Association.

The Brass Tap Like mead? And what about PB&J? Head to the Westfield Brandon location for this Wesley Chapel-founded beer bar franchise for a taste of Crafted Planet of the Grapes. Pair O’ Dice Brewing Company During the Mini Stout SmackDown, the most popular stouts from the Tampa Bay Beer Week and Friday the 13th releases at Pair O’ Dice get tapped. Hot Cocoa (imperial sweet stout), Java the Cup (imperial sweet stout), Little Joe (oatmeal stout) and Nitro Little Joe (oatmeal stout) are in the spotlight. Pinellas Ale Works The brewery’s two-year anniversary coincides with ACBW. Howlin (barrel-aged Scotch ale), Barrel Aged Pomeranian Porter, Barrel Aged Toasted Coconut Porter, Double Stuft Milk Bones and PAWchata (horchata rice ale) make up the beer menu.
