Another bacon, beer festival invades downtown Tampa

For those who aren't crossing the bay for Saturday's St. Pete Pride parade, 97X's Bacon + Brews festival is set to run from 2 to 7 p.m. at Cotanchobee Park in downtown Tampa.

Local food trucks and restaurants' burgers and bacon-inflected dishes will be served throughout the day, and festgoers may pair the offerings with seasonal suds from the Boston Beer Company. Live tunes will also be showcased.

Although the outdoor event is free to attend, tickets to the shaded VIP area, which comes with access to seating, food, three beers and a bacon bar, are available for purchase.
