The first Tampa location for Another Broken Egg Cafe will officially launch on Monday.

To celebrate its grand opening at 4041 S. Dale Mabry Highway, the Florida-based chain’s latest restaurant will donate to local charities during two pre-opening events — one hosted from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday and another from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.

Guests need to register online to attend one of the limited-seating gatherings, or call the restaurant directly for reservations. Depending on the event, voluntary donations will go to either the Special Operations Warrior Foundation or Lowry Park Zoo.

Owned by Double R Restaurant Group, Another Broken Egg offers globally influenced breakfast, brunch and lunch options with a side of Southern hospitality. The flavors of Louisiana, where the original Broken Egg Cafe opened, are reflected in dishes like the New Orleans-style biscuit beignets, bananas Foster pancakes and the crawfish skillet. The made-to-order menu also highlights gluten-free and vegetarian items.

In late spring, the Tampa location will add a full bar and craft cocktails to its menu. Diners can look forward to beer, wine and specialty drinks like the sparkling pear margarita, elderflower-infused mimosa and spiked Nutella iced latte.

The first Pinellas cafe for the rapidly expanding Another Broken Egg debuted to Clearwater in 2015. That year, CL wrote that the chain has plans to open 100 restaurants by 2018.
