Polish up on your chopstick skills, people. Orlando chain restaurant Bento Asian Kitchen + Sushi is opening a second Tampa Bay location at 5103 E. Fowler Avenue.

A representative from the St. Petersburg location told CL that the Tampa Bento should make its debut by early 2020.

The quick-service resto serves up bowls and allowscustomers to choose a base, ranging from rice or noodles, alongside a variety of proteins (including chicken, tofu, steak and shrimp). All that's prepared with sauces like yellow curry, pineapple sweet + sour and General Tso. Diners can also snag signature bowls, bento boxes, poke bowls, and choose rolls from a hefty sushi menu.

If you're the thirsty type, Bento also prepares boba tea drinks with a selection of popping boba flavors including lychee, mango and strawberry. Prefer jellies? Bento has lychee mango and passionfruit flavors for your tea.

Not much longer until Fowler Avenue gets something other than a Panda Express when it comes to fast-casual Asian cuisine. Until then, you can snag bowls, rolls, and bento boxes at the downtown St. Petersburg location at 330 3rd St. S.
