Looks like restaurateurs didn't waste any time taking over the former space of Nueva Cantina's second location at 4918 S. MacDill Ave. in Tampa. Backyard Grill and Patio has already claimed the joint and is hiring for all positions. We bid farewell to Nueva Cantina after being in business for a little over a year. Hopefully, this concept has more luck.

Not much has been shared about the restaurant so far, but we do know from its predecessor that there will be ample patio space for dining, drinking and catching a game at the bar. More details to come as Backyard Grill and Patio develops and an official opening date is announced.
