This week is the time to be, well, shellfish. Seriously, because Bonefish Grill has rolled out a full menu built around its most popular dish: Bang Bang Shrimp.
Although the "Bang Bang Bliss Menu" — as it's been dubbed — was specially created for National Shrimp Day, which is observed on Thursday, the lineup is available at all of the Tampa-based seafood chain's locations nationwide starting Monday.
Bang Bang Shrimp is one of the top appetizers that recipe hunters search for online, so dedicating a one-off bill of fare to the crowd favorite seems like a no-brainer. Consisting of crispy shrimp tossed in a signature creamy-meets-spicy sauce, the iconic starter is featured solo on the Bang Bang Bliss Menu as well as in some other specialties.
If they decide to forgo the dish in its traditional form, Bonefish diners can top their choice of wood-grilled fish, three shrimp tacos (warm tortillas with greens, tomatoes and sour cream), their choice of grilled steak, or a wagyu beef burger (half-pound patty with sharp Cheddar and "special sauce") with Bang Bang Shrimp.
The menu — whose burger and tacos arrive with a side of either fries or greens — is available now through Shrimp Day.
