Before you make your way to Baytenders to grab a bite to eat this weekend, you might want to think of a backup. According to the restaurant's signage, it is temporarily closed until Tuesday, October 15 for "vacation/reconstruction."

The seafood-heavy concept has been in business since February 2018, serving up a selection of steamed king crab, mussels and freshly shucked gulf oysters. Although according to the restaurant's website, Baytenders is in the process of rolling out a new menu, but we can assume the seafood focus isn't going anywhere.

Thankfully, the bar will be back in business in time for locals to take advantage of lower temps in the evenings while they sip on Rumrunners out on the patio seating area. Upon reopening, hours for the restaurant are 3-10 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Saturday, 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Sunday and closed Monday.
