Cigar City Brewpub will serve up a four-course meal during its Beer vs. Wine Dinner at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 14.

Every course will showcase a wine and beer pairing. Head brewer Tim Ogden picked the brews, while certified sommelier Amy Zugras, of Whole Foods Market Carrollwood, chose the wines.

Before the evening ends, one of the beverage purveyors will be dubbed the winner based off the drinks diners liked best.

Liquids like a Belgian red ale and a California pinot noir will be offered alongside a lineup of hamachi, pan-seared scallops, a duck trio and dry-aged New York steak designed by the brewpub's chefs.

Tickets are $125. Diners should purchase them online or by calling 813-348-6363.
