More Tampa Bay residents can start fulfilling their cravings for on-demand food delivery. Bite Squad recently partnered with over 100 new eateries in the St. Petersburg, Clearwater and Tampa markets, bringing the online and mobile delivery service’s restaurant count locally to 500-plus.
The varied, affordable additions include Taza Mediterranean Grill, Detroit Coney Island, TiKanis, Taqueria Emanuel, Tropical Cuisine, Healthy N’ Fresh Cafe, Jacks London Grill, Barracuda Deli Cafe, Memphis Style BBQ Co. and Royal Indian Cuisine.
Bite Squad — which teams up with about 10,000 local dining spots in more than 30 cities — merged with Doorstep Delivery and FoodNow in April and has seen double-digit growth in Tampa, Clearwater and St. Pete since. The platform anticipates continued expansion around the area throughout 2018, a plan that includes the ongoing recruitment of independent restaurants.
“Restaurants are increasingly looking to offer on-demand delivery as consumers seek more and more convenience,” said Bite Squad co-founder and CEO Kian Salehi in a statement. “Partnering with Bite Squad allows them to reach a rapidly growing segment of the population that orders restaurant meals for delivery as an everyday part of life.”
