St. Pete is getting a book and wine store called Book + Bottle

B+B's mission is to curate a thought-provoking and enjoyable reading, shopping, and drinking experience in a comfortablelocal-first retail environment.

The new bookstore concept, located at 17 6th St. N, will host book clubs, wine tastings, story time for children among other events.

Serving up wine by the glass or bottle, alongside beer, coffee and snacks, Book + Bottle is hoping to cure all that ails you.

According to the website, B+B will have literary fiction, celebrity book club picks, bestsellers and other mind-opening reading material. There will also be sections dedicated to women, local literature and Russian literature as an ode to the founder of St. Petersburg, Peter Demens.

In hopes to grow with the community, Book + Bottle's website is stocked with swag like T-shirts, stickers and corkscrews. There is also an option to become an investor and snag monthly subscriptions that are delivered with a handpicked book and bottle of wine exclusively for St. Pete residents.

Tentative hours for the store will be Sunday and Monday 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Friday and Saturday 10 a.m.-10 p.m.

More details to come as the opening date approaches.
