Looks like your sober January plans might come to an end a week early. Bradenton's Motorworks Brewing has teamed up with Shelter Manatee to print adorable faces of pups looking for a forever home on beer can labels as an exclusive release of the brewery's Adoptable Dog Cruiser Kölsch 4-pack. A portion of all proceeds goes toward Shelter Manatee, which is on a mission to build a new shelter and the process of raising at least $2 million in donations from the citizens and businesses of Manatee County.
Last Sunday, Jan. 19, Motorworks had the four adoptable pooches above, as well as a few others, on-site and ready for adoption while hosting raffles, silent auctions, drink specials, and food trucks. An official at Motorworks Brewing told CL that so far, the brewery has sold about 25 cases of the Adoptable Dog Cruiser Kölsch and to their knowledge, two of the four dogs were scooped up by families.
Want to snag a four-pack (or more) for your fridge? The brews are still available at Motorworks—located at 1014 9th St. W. in Bradenton—until they sell out. Maybe you're thinking about adding a new addition to your family or a pal to share your day-to-day adventures with; in that case, reach out to Shelter Manatee through its website, or visit your local shelter.
