The James Beard-nominated St. Petersburg craft beer haven is back with another Foeder For Thought Festival taking place in March.
Fermentation, per usual, is at the heart of this popular gathering, which, for the first time ever will collaborate with BeyLoved Pairings to match food with each of the five breweries bringing beer to the party. The pairings will be provided by pastry chef Aliza Vega from LOKO Cuisine.
While the BeyLoved pairing are available to VIP ticket holders only, the festival at large is open to the public, with beer available to purchase by the glass in two tasting rooms.
VIP tickets include Yeti hear, unlimited access to beer and panels moderated by Michael Kiser, returning guest and owner of Good Beer Hunting. In total, Green Bench promises 20 beers.
From Washington to Georgia, guest breweries coming to 113 Baum Ave. N include American Solera, Barrique Brewing and Blending, Fair Isle Brewing, Monday Night Brewing and Sapwood Cellars Brewery.
The event is part of a busy Tampa Bay Beer Week agenda at Green Bench, which includes a woman-centric gathering, a Chad Mize-curated art show, lager night, and more.
VIP tickets to Foeder For Thought happening Friday, March 7 at Green Bench Brewing Co. and Webb’s City Cellar in St. Petersburg are still available for $135.Readers are invited to submit their own events to Creative Loafing Tampa Bay’s things to do calendar.
