Next month, an old auto repair shop will makes its debut as Weeki Wachee's Marker 48 Brewing, the first full-production craft brewery for Hernando County.

With a seven-barrel brewing system, the new brewery at 12147 Cortez Blvd. has its soft opening set for Nov. 7, followed by a grand opening celebration on Nov. 21.

Marker 48 — which offered up two stouts and a sour at Two Henrys Brewing Company's Biertoberfest this past Saturday — will showcase a 6,000-square-foot facility, beer garden and tasting room. 

The spot plans to operate 4 to 10 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, 3 to 11 p.m. Friday, noon to 11 p.m. Saturday and noon to 8 p.m. Sunday.
