Cass St. Deli is switching it up and opening up on a Monday in honor of Memorial Day. Slide by for a bite and a game of bocce ball while the deli takes over Nebraska Mini-Mart's kitchen.
Cass Street will be serving up fat sandos and dogs ranging from $7-$15.
Pastrami sandwiches are made with house-made pastrami, on Jamison B. Breadhouse Bakes rye with mustard and a house-made half-sour pickle. The Cass Street Deli Dog is made with a Tambuzzoi Sausage Co. wagyu all-beef hotdog, on a Jamison B. Breadhouse Bakes brioche bun paired with a bag of The Matzo Project chips. You can get your dog smothered with the works or plain drizzled with mustard.
Vegetarian latke baskets are also up for grabs for $6, vegan cucumber and onion salad for three bucks a pint, and vegan beet salad for the same price. Need to finish up your Cass Street haul with something sweet? The crew will also be offering up chocolate egg cream.
Nebraska Mini-Mart will be providing its usual booze selection to wash it all down with.
