The second Chuck Lager America's Tavern in the U.S. will open in Wesley Chapel in mid-2020 with a menu curated by 'Top Chef' competitor  Fabio Viviani.

Paul Fischetti, managing director of retail services at Colliers International Tampa Bay, told TBBJ that Chuck Lager America's Tavern signed a lease for the 7,500-square-foot former Primebar space in the Shops at Wiregrass, at 28211 Paseo Dr. in Wesley Chapel. Operating partners Anthony Sandstrom and Brian Henry will stick with Viviani’s menu that he crafted for the first Chuck Lager location in Pike Creek, Delaware.

A self-explanatory name, Chuck Lager America’s Tavern will feature a menu chock full of American comfort food classics like smoked brisket grilled cheese, stuffed philly cheesesteaks, and beer cheeseburgers.

Fabio Viviani has paired with many restaurants throughout the Tampa Bay area to create unique fusion menus, at eateries like Mole y Abuela and Osteria in downtown Tampa. Two more restaurants he has in the works with The Nocturnal Group are Shibui and  La Pergola, which are set to open this upcoming year alongside Chuck Lager.

More details to come as construction continues an official opening date is announced.
