Clearwater’s newest sports bar and restaurant 3B’s is now open

3B's literally stands for "burgers, bourbon and beer."

When Creative Loafing Tampa Bay wrote about 3B’s a few months ago, its team was still in the process of gutting out the space formerly occupied by Grind House Bar & Grill. Now, Clearwater’s newest American restaurant is freshly-open at 1500 N. McMullen-Booth Rd. and it's dishing out, well, exactly what its name states—burgers, bourbon and beer.

The 3B’s menu is organized by the categories: “burgers,” which offers various ways to to prepare its 8-oz patties on brioche buns; “not burgers,” which lists different types of sandwiches like the “Birds & The Bees” (fried chicken, bacon, beer cheese sauce and local honey aioli over two waffles); and “...there’s more," which contains bar food appetizers like wings, onion rings, beer cheese soup, and warm pretzel bites.

Although “burgers” is literally a part of its name, 3B’s is trying to stray away from the typical fare of an American restaurant. Its menu also has options like fresh poke bowls and salads—as well as vegan and gluten-free options.

Its drink offerings are as extensive as its lunch and dinner menu—with a full spread of speciality bourbon cocktails alongside a selection of wine and beer.

In the true spirit of bar and grill culture, 3B’s consistently airs different types of sports games on its many TVs, so head to its Facebook for daily updates on Tampa Bay football, baseball and hockey screenings.

3B’s is now open in Clearwater’s shopping center at the southwest corner of McMullen Booth Rd. from 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Sun.-Thu., and 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Fri. and Sat.
