Cow farts are killing us all, so what's carnivore to do?

The Slate has an interesting article that examines the impact that farming various species of livestock has on the global environment.  The article goes a litte bit more in depth than simply discussing which animal is most gaseous. The author also examines and considers things such as land use, and the requirements of the activities that go into supporting the animal population.

So, which meat is the least harmful? Read "The Kindest Cut:Which meat harms our planet the least?" from Slate Magazine.

You are an environmentally-minded individual.  You also enjoy consuming meat.  So yes, you have read the studies that show how livestock expel gas, and how said gas contributes to the greenhouse effect.  But at the same time, you just can't bring yourself to give up eating McRibs. What is a carnivore to do?
