We are in the final weeks of 2020. The holiday season is upon us, and whether you're shopping on a budget, or just don't know what to get that one picky ass relative, CL Deals 12 Days of Deals, may have the answer for you.
Creative Loafing's half-off local online shop, aka CL Deals, is teaming up with local businesses to give back this holiday season. The 12 Days of Deals features 50% off certificates to local Tampa Bay area businesses with a portion of proceeds benefiting The Laundry Project by Current Initiatives.
The Laundry Project assists lower-income families with meeting a basic need—washing clothes and linens—by turning laundromats into community centers of hope. Laundry fees are paid for while volunteers assist with laundry services and create a caring space at the laundromat. A budget-friendly gift with a side of good karma.
Here’s how it works: A new Deal exclusive to CL Deals will be featured on cldeals.com each weekday through Dec. 24. A limited amount of certificates will be available for purchase while supplies last. Certificates will be valid through Dec. 2021. The first deal of the event features a $30 certificate to The Cake Girl, and you only pay $15.

With the restaurant industry taking a massive hit due to the COVID-19 saga, 12 Days of Deals is the ideal time to support local businesses by copping certificates as stocking stuffers, secret Santa gifts or even gift yourself. Either way, a portion of the proceeds will be kicked to a good cause and you'll be putting money back into local restaurants that need a little love.
