Tampa-based wine shop Cru Cellars’ third location is now open in the Westshore Marina District. The spot, located at 5232 Bridge St., is pouring wine, too, and ready for reservations. Originally hoping for a 2020 opening, the wine-focused restaurant’s 2,400-square-foot space opened its doors May 10.
The menu includes Cru classics like tune tartare, along with what a Facebook post called “some fun new dishes exclusive to our third location.”
Cru is the first restaurant to open in the new Marina Landings development—retail shop Sand Surf Co. opened just a couple weeks prior.
The first Cru Cellars, at 2506 S. MacDill Ave., opened by husband and wife Jennifer and Torrey Bingham in 2010 as a wine bar and retail shop but eventually transformed into a restaurant. Next to open was the Armature Works location where the wine-bar is one of the original tenants for the Heights Public Market.
