Spanish Wine Down Grand Cru Wine Cellar celebrates Friday with a tasting of Spanish wines, paella, flamenco and quesos. $12, includes a $5 coupon toward any purchase. 6-9 p.m. Friday, July 20, at Grand Cru Wine Cellar, 11724 N. Momentous Event At Morrell Wines By Morrell holds a very special tasting of five 1961 first-growth Bordeaux, along with a select group of old and rare wines, followed by a special wine dinner at Six Tables. All proceeds benefit children with leukemia. Only 10 seats are available for the tasting, which takes place at the store. 28 seats are available for the dinner. $250 a person for the tasting only. $1,000 for wine tasting and dinner combination. Bern-ing To Learn Bern's Summer Wine Class, held at SideBern's, 2208 Morrison Ave., Tampa, explores starting and maintaining a wine collection. $25. 6:30 p.m. Monday, July 23. Reservations are required at 813-250-9463.

Benefit for Brookwood Join Friends Of Brookwood Florida, which provides quality services to abused and neglected girls, for an evening of elegance at its second annual wine tasting, featuring a selection of dinner and dessert wines paired with gourmet foods. $60. 7-9:30 p.m. Sunday, July 29, at Eckerd College's Lewis House at 4200 54th Ave. S., St. Petersburg.
