Detroit Coney Island has moved to another location in Clearwater Beach.

The Detroit-style hot dog joint, which also serves up burgers, beer and wine, announced its plans to leave 600 Mandalay Ave. earlier this month. Next to Toucan's Bar & Grill, the building that DCI is remodeling at 432 Poinsettia Ave. formerly housed JB's Island Cafe.

After it reopens, the restaurant will have an outdoor patio and breakfast menu highlighting bacon, sausage, eggs, pancakes and French toast. The new DCI, whose Largo location will remain open at 11500 Walsingham Road, is looking to launch just before Thanksgiving.
