Pink menu items hit restaurants across Tampa Bay, because October

Everything from drinks to dishes for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

In observation of October as National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, local restaurants have rolled out pink menu items. Everything from drinks to dishes benefiting nonprofits and other organizations that support breast cancer research are in the spotlight, and at least one eatery will raise funds for a nationwide health org during its next multicourse feast.

Bulla Gastrobar Order a rosé sangria, because $1 from every sale goes to breast cancer research. Little Greek Fresh Grill Throughout the region, Little Greek’s 18 outposts offer house-made “pink” rice pudding, and $1 from each dessert purchase benefits the American Cancer Society. The Lobby Bar This new addition to the Epicurean Hotel features three beverages in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Expect a local beer , a rosé and an original cocktail called the Pink Lady. Ten percent of the sales are donated to Moffitt Cancer Center. $8-$14. Through Oct. 31. 1207 S. The Rez Grill In collaboration with Beefeater London Dry Gin, the limited-seating “Pinktober” dinner serves five courses of pink-accented plates (think tuna tataki and raspberry semifreddo) and cocktails infused with Beefeater’s new pink gin. A portion of the proceeds benefits the American Cancer Society. Call for reservations. $99.
