Pumpkin. It's a favorite flavor of many folks this time of year and comes in a variety of forms — pie, muffins, scones, cookies and the ever-popular cold weather drink: the pumpkin spice latte.
Unfortunately, the for many of us without easy access to a fancy espresso machine, we have to shell out upwards of four bucks for that pumpkin spice latte fix at coffee shops (and sprinkling pumpkin pie spice in our coffee just doesn't cut it). Luckily, there are some savvy folks out there who have cracked the recipe and flavor profile of the infamous pumpkin flavored latte at a certain big name coffee chain with a green logo, and were nice enough to share their secrets with all of us on the interwebs.
