Gulfport Chef's Table

Beach Boulevard, Gulfport. Oct. 3, 6 p.m. (Oct. 10 rain date). $40-$80. casa-stpete.org/gulfportchefstable.

Gulfport, once known for a burgeoning arts community, has added food to the mix. That’s no secret, we know. Look at our Best of the Bay winner this week for sour orange pie. But this small community of restaurateurs also have big hearts as evidenced by Gulfport Chef’s Table.

This four-course, prix-fixe feast includes the best of Gulfport eateries, including Backfin Blue Café, Boca Bay Grille, Fish Bar & Grill, Isabelle’s at the Peninsula Inn, Mangia Gourmet, Neptune Grille, O’Maddy’s, Pia’s Trattoria and Smokin’ J’s Real Texas BBQ. Diners will gather at one long community table on Beach Boulevard to enjoy a meal from the restaurant of their choice in an al fresco, fine-dining environment.

All the money raised will go to CASA, and the Sonia Raymund Foundation will match that amount. View each menu online, then call to make reservations  they're required.
