Make this weekend just another beer-soaked memory at these Oktoberfest parties (all hosted at local craft breweries), held on the same day as the official celebration begins in Munich, Germany.
In Bradenton, Darwin Brewing Co.’s family-friendly 3rd Annual Finchtoberfest returns with more than eight kinds of traditional German beer (which pay tribute to brewmaster Jorge Rosabal’s time in Munich), live music and Lucky Frog’s German eats.
On the other side of the Skyway, Palm Harbor’s Lagerhaus Brewery & Grill will offer rotisserie pork shanks and more in the biergarten during its 9th Annual Oktoberfest, while Oktoberfest Tampa — scheduled for Oct. 7, 8 and 9 — is set to hold a Dunkel Launch Party for its signature beer at Ybor City-based Coppertail Brewing Co.
The Kick-off Party for Big Storm’s Oktoberfest in Clearwater (the brewery’s Oktoberfest Märzen Lager will be celebrated) and Rapp Brewing Company’s Seminole Oktoberfest (all its lagers on tap, plus Oktoberfest mugs available for purchase) are also in store for Pinellas imbibers.
