Doc Ford's Rum Bar & Grille announced on social media that not only is the forthcoming restaurant hiring, but it will be opening on the St. Pete Pier in March.
The seafood forward joint offers up appetizers like fried calamari, mussels, Doc Ford's Famous Fish Fingers, as well as poultry bites like Caribbean jerk tostados and heat island chicken wings. Diners have the option to add dish, shrimp, chicken, grouper, salmon or Mahi to their soup and salad options. Doc Ford's also offers up a raw bar, a selection of sandos and a kid's menu. When it comes to entrees, the pickiest of eaters can find a plate; options range from Texas baby back ribs to seafood paella, with prices ranging from $19.95 to $28.95.
Don't forget, the soon-to-debut pier is set to allow open alcohol consumption. Grab a brew or a cocktail and walk the pier to either window shop or blow your budget at any or all of the vendors ranging in boutique popcorn to heat-treated copper jewelry.
