Earlier today, German restaurant Hofbrauhaus announced that it's hosting this year’s Donut Fest on May 3, from 1.pm. to 5 p.m.

There will be various types of doughnuts, beer, and non-alcoholic drinks to sample as well as activities like a doughnut eating contest, a photo booth, raffles, and a poll to find out who makes the best donut in Tampa Bay.

Keep an eye out for Tampa Bay-based donut shops and bakeries that will be participating in 2020’s Donut Fest.

We’re not sure how well Hofbrauhaus beer and doughnuts go together, but there’s only one way to find out. Get your $10 early bird tickets at eventbrite.com.

There’s Donut Fests all throughout the country in cities like Chicago, Los Angeles and Las Vegas, but this is the first time this sweet celebration heads to Tampa.
