Still not ready to enter a restaurant? St. Petersburg just welcomed a new restaurant concept that specializes in takeout and delivery. Tampa-based Doormét (think gourmet to your door) has been specializing in home deliveries for the last 11 years. Now, the restaurant has branched out into the ‘Burg, and debuted its second location in the former Amigos Tortilla Bar space at 681 Central Ave. in downtown St. Pete (Amigos closed last summer).
The St. Pete menu echoes the OG location’s with appetizers like wings, truffle mac and cheese, soup, salads, as well as deli and bistro sandos. Need something heartier? Diners can also grab hand-tossed pizzas, bowls, pastas, chicken dishes and even some options for the kids. The menu also offers a selection of craft beer and wine.
If you want to get a taste, you can either swing by the location to dine in, or download the mobile ordering app from the App Store or Google Play to snag takeout or get your meal delivered.
Doormét’s Tampa location is stationed at 1155 S. Dale Mabry Hwy. No. 12, and both locations are operating from 11 a.m.- 9 p.m. seven days a week.
