But there won’t be a dentist on site.

Downtown St. Pete’s Rocket Fizz is giving away free soda and taffy at Friday's grand opening

Rocket Fizz soda and candy shop made its official debut in St. Pete in early December, and it’s stocked full of novelty sodas, candy, vintage tin signs and gag gifts. If you haven’t had a chance to swing by, now’s the time to get a taste—on the house. Rocket Fizz is giving out free soda and hosting taffy tastings in honor of its grand opening. And you know it's officially a party when a balloon twister is on-site. Feel like a kid again for at least the afternoon as you walk through the shop, or be reminded of what an old fart you are when you have to explain certain items to your kids.
