The prescription calls for brunch with the doctor.

As we creep closer to summertime, Dr. BBQ in the 'Burg has launched a brunch menu incorporating flavors of Texas, with some global influences.

One is a take on french toast transformed into a donut french toast casserole infused with cinnamon and topped with Jim Bean bourbon-infused peaches and whipped cream.

(You can tell the minds of Datz have a little influence.)

In a recent statement, co-owner Suzanne Perry shared, “We are so eager to change up the brunch game in St. Pete. Dr. BBQ’s will be an excellent alternative to traditional weekend fare, and this is just the right location for such a new take on brunch.”

Customers can be served on the balcony, or inside surrounded by Dr. BBQ himself Ray Lampe’s competitive trophies and memorabilia.

Eggs Benedict has also been given a makeover with Compart Duroc smoked pulled pork, two poached eggs, and BBQ hollandaise over a buttermilk biscuit.

Sweet Tea Mimosas are on the menu, too, constructed of sparkling wine mixed with 3 Daughters Brewing Sweet Tea Cider.

Dr. BBQ is bringing a little hardiness to brunch.

Get ready to loosen that belt buckle.
