Drew Brees’ Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux coming to Midtown Tampa

It’s the second Walk-On’s for the Tampa Bay area.

Midtown Tampa is cranking out more food for hungry Tampeños.

Sports bar Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux, co-owned by former New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees is opening a location there, joining rooftop bar Sal Y Mar, already proving to be a popular hotspot in the city.

Walk-On’s will become the perfect place to catch a game, enjoy craveable New Orleans delights, and hang with friends any time!,” Midtown Tampa wrote last week.

The Walk-On’s menu, described on the website as “authentic, mouthwatering Louisiana cuisine prepared fresh in a from-scratch kitchen”, includes several delicacies like their signature Cajundillas, Voodoo Shrimp & Grits, po boy sandwiches, salads, and burgers. Pair a meal with either one of their signature cocktails like the Blueberry Coconut Mojito, beer, or wine.

Opening date is TBD but take the quick drive up to the Walk-On’s Wesley Chapel location at 25372 Sierra Center Blvd. Its hours of operation are Sunday-Thursday 11 a.m.-11 p.m. and Friday-Saturday 11 a.m.-midnight.

And don’t worry, going to a restaurant co-owned by Brees does not put you in danger of choking.
