Dunedin’s Q Southern Outpost—the second location for the popular Q Southern BBQ—is now opening inside of Caledonia Brewing.

The 100-square-foot space located at 587 Main St. was formerly home to the Restorative’s offshoot Side Piece, which closed on April 25.

Cameron Capri, who opened Q in March of 2020, relied on takeout and catering for survival last year. And survive Q did.

Outpost’s menu—as shared on the restaurant’s Facebook page—uses Capri’s critically acclaimed smoked meats in a bar-friendly way. There’s snacks (brisket nachos, riblet basket, wings), sandwiches (like The Cackalacky with North Carolina pulled pork, South Carolina gold sauce, and slaw) and bowls (Brisket Mac Bowl).

Hours Are Wednesday-Thursday 4 p.m.-9 p.m., Friday-Saturday noon-10 p.m., and Sunday noon-9 p.m. The Outpost is closed on Monday and Tuesday.
