Florida Brewers Guild Brewfest Rocked Centro Ybor

Any backroom hitches went unnoticed by the sunshine-warmed crowd, who appreciated the free-flowing taps, myriad of styles, and specially timed releases of small batches. It was great to see the community come together in support of the burgeoning craft brew industry, which now boasts close to ten award-winning breweries in Tampa Bay. (Many more are located throughout Florida, from Pensacola to Jacksonville to Miami.)

Kudos to The Florida Brewers Guild, the 100+ volunteers, and the participating brewers for a well-run event. I look forward to blogging from more of the Tampa Bay Beer Week activities and tastings - and to an even bigger 2013 Brewfest.
