Another calendar flip means another new patty at Boulevard Burgers & Tap House. A portion of the proceeds from the St. Pete Beach restaurant's latest burger creation, the Big Daddy, benefits LGBTQ nonprofit Project No Labels in honor of Pride Month, which is observed throughout June.
A double-decker handheld that includes a choice of fries, tots or coleslaw, the Big Daddy consists of two signature patties loaded with mac and cheese, more cheese (melted Cheddar) and bacon. The burger costs $13.95, and $1 from every purchase now until July 1 goes to Project No Labels.
Boulevard Burgers regularly spotlights limited-time specials like the Big Daddy. In April, the restaurant — an indoor-outdoor destination for lunch and dinner with 15 local beers on draft — raised a $500 donation for Angels Against Abuse through the eight-ounce Boulevard Melt. It hopes to do the same for another good cause.
"We're ecstatic about our upcoming partnership with Boulevard Burgers and grateful for their generous proposal benefiting our organization's mission this month," according to a statement from Project No Labels.
