The Crafty Squirrel is ready to formally launch in downtown St. Pete with free tastings and $250 in raffle prizes. The high-energy sports pub premiered last month, but its grand opening with Mayor Rick Kriseman is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 13.

Guests score a sample of everything from artisan pizza to teapot cocktails and Long Island iced teas. Specifically, the options include loaded nachos, wings with a choice of six sauces and the Kitchen Sink pie, which consists of tomato, mozzarella, pepperoni, sausage, bacon, onion, bell peppers, olives and pineapple.

Those planning to attend are asked to RSVP through the grand opening’s Facebook event page.
