Earlier this week, Fresco y Más and Shipt announced their new partnership. The online same-day delivery service now transports groceries from 26 Fresco y Mas stores to doorsteps in Tampa, plus Orlando and South Florida.

Fresco y Más is known for carrying an array of Hispanic and Caribbean products. Its collaboration with Shipt has made it one of the first Hispanic grocers to offer home delivery for customers in metro markets around the state.

“We are continuously making improvements to increase the quality of our customers’ lives through convenient and enjoyable shopping experiences,” said Anthony Hucker, president and CEO of Fresco y Más parent company Southeastern Grocers (which also owns Winn-Dixie), in a statement. “This is why we are proud to announce our partnership with Shipt as another way for our customers to purchase their favorite Fresco y Más quality products and value delivered directly to their doorstep.”

Customers of Fresco y Más must use the Shipt website or app to order groceries of all kinds — including fresh produce, meat and seafood — and receive them in as soon as an hour. Household essentials, pet goods and baby products are also eligible for delivery, as are items from the on-site cocina and cafe.

“Residents of South Florida, Orlando and Tampa will have the convenience of easy, personal delivery of their favorite items from another beloved local retailer,” Shipt founder and CEO Bill Smith said. “Through our app, our members have access to everything they need, when they need it, right at their fingertips.”

Fresco y Más operates two stores locally, and they’re both in Tampa.
