The 85-year-old Tramor Cafeteria, owned by the Tampa Bay Times and used by its staff, will be sold to a Chicago business that plans to relaunch the building under the Hofbräuhaus franchise, according to a Times report Thursday.

The newspaper said the deal is set to close Friday.

Hofbräuhaus restaurants, and beer halls and beer gardens, are located around the country (Florida has one) and in other locales like Germany and Italy.

The Panama City Beach site serves brats, Bavarian beer cheese, 'kraut cakes, spaetzle, imported beer from the company's brewery in Germany, schnitzel and more.
