The cold-pressed juicery formerly known as Green Elephant Juice Bar is ready for Dunedin.

Sister owners Maria and Alexandra Chaar have the soft opening for their new Escape Root Juicery planned for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Located on the outskirts of downtown, the juice bar at 769 Main St., originally slated to open in August, is the first of its kind for Dunedin.

The Chaars, who told CL they view Escape Root as an "escape to the good life" rather than a juice bar, churn out popular cold-press creations like The Islander with coconut water, fresh citrus and ginger. They plan to highlight smoothies, raw snacks, acai bowls, draft kombucha and coffee for the early birds, as well as other bites on their raw foods-focused menu in the future.

Go high five them.
