Coffee Grounds Cafe and Cocktail Bar debuted to thirsty Treasure Island dwellers in September. But an official grand opening for the new hangout that mixes caffeine with adult beverages is planned for Saturday.
The all-day celebration at 10927 Gulf Blvd., next to Middle Grounds Grill, will feature Robby's Pancakes from 8 a.m. to noon alongside $3 mimosas and Bloody Marys throughout the event.
Those who can't make it to the grand opening will find tea, specialty coffee drinks made with Kahwa Coffee, bagels, croissants, muffins, gourmet deli sandwiches and fresh salads on the regular Coffee Grounds menu.
For craft cocktails, the lineup ranges from the Cafe Royal (Patrón XO coffee liqueur and coffee garnished with whipped cream and chocolate shavings) to a mango bourbon smash.
