On the heels of a nationwide branding refresh, Carrollwood's Burger 21 is gearing up to show off its updates. A VIP grand reopening for the fast-casual burger franchise's corporately owned Tampa location, whose changes include a new restaurant design, is scheduled for 6 to 8 p.m. May 1. But locals have a chance to win entry to the reveal party beforehand.
How? Download the "B Loyal" rewards app and scan your Burger 21 receipts every time you eat now through April 25. On the following day, April 26, the franchise announces the 100 diners with an exclusive invite to the celebration.
Food and drink on the house, other giveaways, and a social media contest, the winner of which receives free burgers for a year, are among the reveal party highlights.
"I'm very excited to share the exciting changes that we've made to our dining experience across the country and here in our own Carrollwood location. I can't wait to share that with all our guests," said Burger 21 President Mark Johnston, who owns the Carrollwood restaurant, in a statement.
Next month, the freebies continue when the franchise observes May as National Hamburger Month. Customers who dine from May 8 to 11 — and scan their receipts of $6 or more through the app — can snag one complimentary Burger 101, a traditional burger, through May 28.
