Most families have some kind of special Holiday traditions. Some are passed down from generation to generation and some are newly created as we go along. These customs and rituals that we practice help define who we are as a family, and if we're lucky, create a unique opportunity for bonding.
My husband and I have been married for over twenty years, which is quite a miracle in this day and age, (especially since I am only twenty-nine years old). On our first Christmas together as man and wife, we began a tradition that we still observe to this day. Each year on Christmas morning, I put together a little champagne brunch for us to enjoy as we sit around opening our presents under the tree. It's just a special thing we do – just for us.
