A new tenant is on the rise on the south side of Hyde Park Village in Tampa, which is undergoing renovations. Taking over the under-construction parcel at 1640 W. Snow Ave., North Carolina-founded Clean Juice has been recruited for the shopping and dining district’s H Block.
The certified-organic juice bar franchise — which wife-and-husband team Kat and Landon Eckles started in 2014 after years of experimentation with at-home recipes — plans to announce its opening date in summer.
With 90 franchised stores across the country, Clean Juice showcases a menu of both fresh and cold-pressed juice, smoothies, protein smoothies, acai bowls, and other food items like the signature oats bowl and banana-topped almond butter toast.
“Helping our delicious juices and menu find their audience is part of the fun of this business. We look forward to becoming a good neighbor in Hyde Park Village and meeting our new and already-familiar customers in our new storefront,” said Macy Vonderschmidt, marketing project manager for Clean Juice, in a statement.
Tampa got its first taste of Clean Juice in 2017, when the franchise’s Carrollwood location launched. Not long after, South Tampa and Sarasota followed with openings earlier this year — making the coming-soon Hyde Park Village outpost Clean Juice’s third in Cigar City.
“We look forward to Clean Juice joining our Village. Their concept provides new and healthy options for shoppers, diners and those who live or work in or near the Village,” according to Hyde Park Village General Manager Susan Martin. “We believe they will be a very popular shop.”
