On Saturday, Aug. 16, the Summer of Rum Festival will takeover Ybor City's historic Cuban Club for a second round of rum-soaked festivities from 2 to 11 p.m.

Held at the Heights Waterfront during its inaugural debut last year, Summer of Rum attracted 4,000 people, according to a press release. This year's event organizers expect a crowd of more than 5,000.

The expanded Cuban Club will have three rum zones, including the second-floor "Pirate's Cove," which has a Captain Morgan bar and a theater that will air swashbuckling movies throughout the event.

A Caribbean Island Main Street, with food vendors, street performers and island-inspired live music, will be featured on the club's new outdoor patio.

On top of rum shacks and huts from companies like Cruzan, Naked Turtle, Appleton Estate and Ron Abuelo, a Sailor Jerry DIY Bloody Jerry garnish bar will also be showcased.

Putting a spin on the popular morning cocktail, the bar will allow festivalgoers to dress their drinks however they like. Onion rings, salted caramel-covered pickles and bacon cheeseburger sliders will be among the garnishes.

And if imbibers can't make it out to the festival, they've got some at-home celebrating to do. Sailor Jerry shared its recipe for Bloody Jerrys with CL, aptly declaring "screw the celery."

Whether at the event or in the kitchen, rumhounds who snap a shot of their cocktail and tag it with @SailorJerry and #ScrewTheCelery on Twitter or Instagram will be eligible to win a brunch from the rum producer for 10 friends. The most outrageous photo will reign victorious.
