It's happening: John's Pass Village gets its own Beef Jerky Outlet

Another marketplace for the ultimate snack food that is jerky is headed for Madeira Beach.

Remember when the Beef Jerky Outlet premiered in Clearwater Beach? Of course you do. It was a magical moment.

Anyway, one of these dried-and-smoked-meat-filled paradises is headed for John's Pass Village & Boardwalk. Like the national jerky franchise's other stores, the Madeira Beach Beef Jerky Outlet at 158 129th Ave. W. will stock its shelves with more than 100 varieties and sizes of specialty jerky. Alligator, elk, moonshine and Cajun are among the options.

The region's newest store is owned by Carrie Stec and Craig Eihl, the same couple who operate the Clearwater Beach location. In a statement, Stec said they can't wait to share their love for the low-cal snack with the waterfront destination.

"We are very excited about bringing this store to the area," according to Stec. "It is such a unique shopping experience, where you get to try it before you buy it."

In early December, Madeira Beach's Jerky Outlet plans to throw its grand opening.
