Tampa original Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Company is headed back to the Bay.
The roaster is actually headquartered in Tampa and has had a few locations in the Bay, but they all closed years ago. This will be the company’s first and only Tampa shop since those closures.
The grand opening is Aug. 12 at 3655 Midtown Dr., Tampa. Though no specific specials have been revealed for the grand opening, the cafe is set to offer Tampa-inspired pours like the Ybor City Blend and the Cigar City Blend. You can also look forward to wine and beer—including Dunedin Brewery’s Biere de Café brown ale on tap.
There will also be food and pastry items (avocado toast included). If you’re looking for custom latte foam art, you can use the concept’s Ripples machine by downloading the company’s app and uploading a photo, which you can have floating on top of your cappuccino.
Joffrey’s is the latest in a string of openings near Midtown Commons, following the openings of Tampa’s first Shake Shack, a Sephora and a new Whole Foods Market over the last year.
The shop is normally open from 6 a.m.-8 p.m. daily, but it’s staying open until 10 p.m. through Aug. 14 for the grand opening. To order pickup and to keep up with all the latest, you can visit the cafe’s website.
