Does "Korean barbecue pork" sound like specialty jerky heaven? Then head to Madeira Beach — specifically the John's Pass Village & Boardwalk location for Beef Jerky Outlet.
The nationwide jerky franchise has launched the new flavor — inspired by the taste of select pork cuts and paired with additional barbecue seasoning — in honor of National Jerky Day on June 12 and Father's Day on June 17.
According to a statement from CEO Scott Parker, Beef Jerky Outlet is excited to celebrate Dad's Day with the Korean barbecue pork jerky, which joins the franchise's 100-plus existing jerky varieties.
"It makes a great gift," Parker said.
On top of the Korean barbecue pork jerky, Father's Day will also bestow the customers of Beef Jerky Outlet John's Pass with the opportunity to enter to win a Weber grill. Winners of the giveaway are announced on Dad's Day.
Beef Jerky Outlet was founded in 2010 and is based in Tennessee. The franchise operates more than 100 stores, including six founder-owned locations, offering a range of jerkies — everything from teriyaki and cherry maple to alligator.
